Breakfast was a nice start to the day, with a free buffet and different choices each day. The rooms are clean, practical, and comfortable, with the essentials. Staff are very helpful, too. They don’t speak much English, but use signs and technology to make check-in easy and stress-free. There’s parking onsite, and the hotel is near Shin-Fuji Station, handy for train trips or picking up a rental car. The guest lobby area for early arrivals is actually set up for dining, so it isn’t a relaxed lounge like at many hotels. We had a positive stay at Toyoko Inn Shin-Fuji-Eki Minami-guchi, and found it friendly, convenient, and well-priced for the area.

We could see Mt Fuji clearly from our room at 6 in the morning. The hotel is right outside the south exit of Shin Fuji Station, and Fuji station, the non-shin one, is less than a kilometer away. There’s a huge Espot supermarket nearby for everyday needs. Dragon Tower is a 3.5 km walk and a must-visit spot for the best unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. The hotel was absolutely fab, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re planning to stay in fuji.

The hotel is right at the entrance to Shin Fuji JR Station. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but breakfast is free from 6:30 am, delicious, healthy, and has plenty of variety. They also offer free coffee until 10 in the morning. Check-in and checkout are done automatically at a kiosk. Family Mart is a five-minute walk away, and ESPOT, a local supermarket, has pretty much everything at lower prices than a convenience store.

End of Dec-2025. We had a great view of Mount Fuji from the window, and the rooms were great. Service and cleanliness were ok. The hotel is far from Fuji Station, but they provided a shuttle bus, so that was ok. Breakfast is free, though there wasn’t much variety.

The service staff were awesome. They explained Yamato Transport and arranged everything for us. Rooms are spacious and clean, with great views of Mount Fuji. It’s very convenient, right beside Shin-fuji station and the taxi stand. There are basic amenities like laundry and vending machines.
