The staff were professional and helpful, and the room I had was spacious. The hotel is also handy for the train station. Breakfast had less variety than I’ve seen at other hotels. I didn’t try the public bath, so I can’t comment on it. There was a fragrance in the lobby that was almost overpowering and nearly triggered my allergies.

We had a beautiful view, and the Hello Kitty rooms were such a fun surprise. Breakfast was great too, with so many options. Super great experience at Hotel Ole!

The service from the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff deserves real credit. Everyone there was friendly and did an excellent job. My concern is the rigid approach to early or late checkout. I’ve found more flexibility in Tokyo and elsewhere, and even as long-term guests, we didn’t seem to get any added value. I understand that one of the managers may be behind this, and in my opinion they might benefit from retraining in international hospitality standards.

They’ve made a lot of progress with having more information in English. Another helpful addition is a cellphone in each room with mobile data that you can take out with you, which is handy when you need internet while exploring. The hotel is clean, modern and easy to get to, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast buffet has a good range of healthy options.

I’ve stayed here many times and plan to come back again. The buffet breakfast is amazing, the rooms are cozy, and the hotel is right next to Fujieda station. What more could you ask for?
