No-frills and comfortable, with friendly staff. The breakfast was very basic but decent. It's right by the station, which is handy, though the station lights are bright. The curtains made the room properly dark, so that wasn't an issue. The room itself was simple but nice.

You can use a Toyoko inn card as your room key. Breakfast is complimentary and it doesn't get crowded. There is just one elevator.
10/10
I think my last visit was around December 2008. I went to see my Chinese girlfriend while she was studying at Shizuoka University. That was the most perfect hotel I'd ever stayed in. These days, whenever I spot a Toyoko In, I go there.
4/10
I walked into the hotel today and was put off by the way some of the front office staff behaved tonight. They were very impolite. Management really should address it.
10/10
A comfortable place with a good view.
