The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed. The place is very clean, with a modern design and a full set of cooking utensils and a washer. You can see Mt Fuji’s cap from the window. I’d stay again.

Our accommodation had no view of Mt Fuji, though maybe another one in the same neighborhood does. The location is close to a grocery store and a bus stop for Kawaguchiko main station, but there aren’t many restaurants nearby. The host was very responsive and made check-in and checkout smooth. Parking was good, and the large TV with Netflix and YouTube was a nice extra for playing some music. The place is attractive and compact, with a good amount of space for 6-7 adults and up to 3-4 small children who can share the large beds with adults. There’s just one bathroom, which may not suit a big family, but it worked well for our two adults and one child. The check-in and checkout times were the main downside. Check-in starts at 4 pm and checkout is at 10 am. Staying until 1 pm costs an extra 1000 yen per 30 minutes. I found the 10 am checkout too early and think 3 pm check-in and noon checkout would be better.
