Feels like a cheap motel for the price. Google Maps was awful for finding the place, and the Wi-Fi was so bad I couldn't stream anything.

The view of Mount Fuji was great, and the staff were good, but the place felt more like a dormitory than a ryokan. It's an old building, and the sound of people walking at night kept me from sleeping well. The two women shared bathrooms, with shared water in the bath, and the blanket futon was quite dirty.

The staff were lovely and helpful, but cigarette smoke seemed to linger throughout the whole place. We also had very noisy guests in the next room, so we didn't get much sleep.

You get a nice view of Mount Fuji from the window, even with a railing in the way. The room was cold, so check that the heater works or ask for a gas one. If you haven't tried a ryokan style room before, give it a try and wake up to those views.
