Hotel CAMELOT

There are traditional restaurants nearby, and a bus stop close enough to use for exploring the area. The staff are lovely, and you can see Mount Fuji. They’ll also transfer you from the train station. And the cat, Oleo, is so sweet. Honestly, it’s a great place to stay.

The view was really nice, and the service was good. Lawson is close by, and the hotel has a pick-up service from Kawaguchiko station. I stayed here in April and had a mountain-view room. Good location too.

Our Fuji-view room was spacious and had a small balcony. For the same price, it may be one of the biggest rooms we’ve had in a Japanese hotel. There’s also a microwave, kettle, and other amenities, though if you expect a Japanese-style toilet with the multifunction bidet, you might not find one here. Service was warm and welcoming. The staff are very friendly, suggested good places to eat, picked us up at the station, and dropped us off at checkout. There’s a cute cat called Oleo, and a massage chair in the lounge area. The location gets 5/5 from me: it’s near some izakaya, and there’s a Lawson just down the road with a view of Mt Fuji. Service 5/5, rooms 4/5. Really good hotel for the price.

The view was breathtaking, and the common room was amazing. There’s even a Space Invaders game. Hotel camelot gave me some of the best hotel service I’ve ever enjoyed. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want exquisite service with a cherry-on-top view.
