Kawaguchiko Hotori no Hotel Ban

We had a spacious room in the main building, with two big beds and a view of Fuji. The hotel is handy for reaching the best Fuji viewpoints and sightseeing spots. There's a 24/7 Family Mart next door, plus a bakery/cafe and several restaurants within walking distance. Reception and kitchen staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved my stay and would definitely return.

Our room had a lovely view of mount fuji, and there's a scenic path to a little park with another view. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko station, with a 24-hour family mart downstairs and a large 7-11 across the road. My husband and I especially appreciated Tahiro, sorry if we got the name wrong, for helping us check in and kindly taking our luggage up the stairs without being asked. Just note that check-in is strictly at 3pm.

The area was peaceful and had lovely scenery, with a Mt. Fuji viewpoint about a five-minute walk away. There's a mart downstairs and a 7 eleven nearby. The front desk was welcoming, and our room was large and clean, with two single beds and Tatami beds. The bathroom was clean and upgraded. I'd recommend it for families who want to stay together in one room. The building has just one floor, with all rooms on that level, and stairs are the only way up. Large bags can be awkward, though there's a small slide beside the stairs to move luggage on.

Breakfast tasted like home cooking, and we could see Mt. Fuji through the windows. The lake, konbini's, and other attractions are all close by. We had the large room, which was roomy and comfortable, and the stairs were fine for us. There was parking, outdoor seating, and a lounge where you could sit, eat, or prepare food. It was surprisingly quiet despite being beside the road, and the birdsong each morning was lovely. We'd happily come back.
