For the price, this is incredible value. It's conveniently located and really cozy, with a lounge area, baths, and friendly staff. It's a small local hotel, so don't expect loads of amenities. I felt welcome and comfortable, and the place was very clean with surprisingly comfortable beds.

A couple of minutes' walk gets you to the lake and a Mount Fuji view, and the guest house itself is so cozy, with lovely hosts. We were very happy there, especially with the homemade breakfast, which I definitely suggest trying. The marathon meant the buses weren't running, but one of our hosts drove us to the station even though they were busy making breakfast for other guests. We made our train!

It's a three-story walk-up, 3-star hotel, and the owner was lovely. We had a private bath, AC, and a view of Fuji. Since it was very quiet, they weren't offering breakfast packages, but they kindly let us use the restaurant area to make toast and enjoy the peaceful view. The bus stop, lakeside, Forest Music Museum, Art Museum, and a couple of cafes are a short walk away. Very warm and welcoming, and good value.

The hotel looks great and feels cozy, and our room was big and new. The man at reception was very helpful. It poured on checkout day, and he drove us to a Familymart so we could buy an umbrella. I'll definitely come back and book again on our next trip.

A cozy European-style guest house in a great spot. It's about a 5-minute walk to the kawaguchi lake side, Music-box Museum, or maple passage. They serve tasty Western-style dinner and breakfast.
