Only stayed a short time, but everything was fine. It's near the station and the view of Mt. Fuji is perfect!

For what it costs, this was very good value, and I'd stay again. Check-in was easy, with clear photos and arrows showing where the parking lot is. The room was very clean, and the quiet electric heater was nice. The room and common area were clean, and my stay was comfortable and quiet. I got lucky that other guests kept quiet, though you can hear footsteps in the hallway. That was still quieter than the traffic outside. It's a hostel, not a hotel, so shared toilets and showers and some guest noise come with the setup. My expectations were low because of the price, but the place did better than I expected.

We were eight people, but one room only sleeps up to six, so we had to book a second room for two. I think the attic could work for a group of six to eight. The attic is also where you get a lovely view of Mt. Fuji from the window. They provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, a hair dryer, tea, a water heater, and a mini fridge. There are two showers and two separate toilets. I wish they'd add a microwave and label which shower and toilet are for women and men. As we were leaving, I noticed a bloodstain on my comforter, and I wasn't on my period then. I hope they check the blankets carefully and replace the ones that need it. Still, it's a good place to stay.

The best part of my stay was how clean everything was. But there seemed to be no rules, and I was woken at 6:40 by a dryer. A family with two children sang in the shower, then ran the dryer for ages, without regard for the rest of us trying to sleep. The same family left rubbish in the toilets, which was disgusting. I know the hostel can't control everything guests do, but they could at least try posting rules. The beds weren't very comfortable either, and the top bunk's ladder was really loose.
