Mount Fuji was visible right from the living room and bathroom windows, which was a highlight of our Japan trip. The house felt peaceful and spacious for our family of four, and the beds were really comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and six minutes from a 7eleven and other restaurants. I also appreciated the thoughtful, child-friendly touches, including a high chair and a safety gate for the stairs.
8/10
Getting around Kawaguchiko City and the lake was easy, and Mount Fuji looked great from here. The rooms were quite small, though, and there wasn't anywhere to put clothes.
10/10
There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the stay is very good value. Walking to the ropeway is comfortable, and it's closer than taking the red car from the station. From the second-floor room you get a clear view of Fuji, though a light pole partly gets in the way.
