The service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the hilltop location in an upscale residential area was quiet. But my stay in the more expensive Nagomi room would have earned five stars if it hadn't been infested with ants. This wasn't just a stray ant or two. A trail kept coming back night after night, even after I tried repellent and lemon essential oil on it. I think the hotel's age may be the reason. It used to be a Sheraton, until the financial crisis in the 90s led the government to buy back the properties and turn it into an EM facility.

The morning bakery had delicious bread, and I liked that the hotel seems to consider health in its choices. The food was clean and locally sourced, the rooms were bigger than usual, and the laundry room was free to use with their own detergent. A fantastic hotel and a really unique experience.

I stayed six nights and had the quietest hotel stay I've ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great. It's near shopping, tourist attractions, and the beach, with Camp Foster only 10 minutes away. One of my favorite hotel stays, hands down.

The capsule treatment didn't change my life or anything, but I definitely enjoyed spending time at the bathhouse.

I came back because I love this hotel, and the customer service is still top notch. Breakfast is fabulous, especially for people who care about health and love vegetables. The view is spectacular, the onsen is relaxing, and the cafe chocolate cake is super delicious. I've had an awesome time here.
