There’s plenty of nightlife nearby, with lots of izakaya, plus a decent-sized department store and a good supermarket next door. The location also works really well for visiting enoshima from fujisawa. The staff are nice, there’s free-flow beer, and despite being close to the train, the soundproofing is very good and I didn’t hear any noise. Having Netflix on the TV was a nice extra.

After walking around in weather around 10 degrees, the free hot cocoa was especially handy since I’m not a coffee person. The hotel is very clean, the amenities were just right, and it’s well placed for the station, bus terminals, and plenty of good food. It connects to a nearby Lawson, with a Family Mart right out front, which made things super convenient. It was peaceful and quiet, and I felt rested and ready for whatever I had planned during the day or evening. I had a great stay. One possible downside, if I remember right, is that this isn’t a chain and may be the only one in Japan. I’d still consider it highly next time. Check it out!

The rooms are compact, but clean, bright, and laid out well. We heard no noise from the businesses outside, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s only a few minutes from Fujisawa train station, and there’s a laundry room with two washer-dryer machines. On our Japan trip, this was the only hotel that had a clock in the room, and the only one where we could cast video from our phones to the TV. There are five outlets, plus a two-outlet extension cord for charging devices. One odd detail: a small “No Smoking” sign was just a couple of feet from an ashtray. They do provide a bottle of spray air freshener. As other reviewers have mentioned, there’s free draft beer from 3 to 8 pm, and it was quite good. If we come back to this part of Japan, we’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was tidy and comfortable, and all the amenities were ready. Reception was attentive when answering our questions, and the helpful young man there was very nice. He was tall and thin, though I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. I hope to come back in the future.
