The room at 916Tabi no Yado was roomy and comfortable, with a small Mount Fuji view from the balcony. The shared bathroom, toilet, and kitchen were spacious and kept in good shape, and there was a proper dining area. A 7-Eleven right beside the property made it easy to grab food or snacks anytime. We borrowed bicycles from the caretaker and had a fantastic ride, with beautiful Fuji scenery along the way. The hotel is well placed for getting to popular spots like Lake Kawaguchi by bike or taxi, though walking there isn't ideal. A comfortable, affordable base for exploring the area.

We had plenty of room for six to sit together with cushions and eat and drink. Our first-floor Superior Studio (?) also had five beds, a kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and washing machine, though the private sleeping spaces were futons. A convenience store was under a minute away, and there was enough space for us over several nights. I'd happily stay again for a visit to Fuji-Q Highland. One odd thing happened a few times: people who were meant to go upstairs came to the first floor asking us for directions. Some even insisted, “We have a reservation! You're the one who's wrong!” We could only laugh.

The location worked well for getting around, with bus and train stops nearby, and self-service check-in was available. There's also a washing machine. We had a large room and access to a shared kitchen, living room, and bathroom. The main discomfort was how cold the room was, with icy floors. Still, the stay was good overall.
