If you want somewhere quiet and private, I’d really recommend this place. The owner was kind and helpful, and even left us souvenirs. You do need to arrange a time in advance to pick up the keys. Since it’s a private residence, finding the entrance can be a little confusing at first, but it’s manageable. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The house itself is lovely and clean, with Mt. Fuji visible from the window. There’s a 7-Eleven and a Family Mart along the main road, and several photo spots are within walking distance with great Fuji views. A large shrine is about an eight-minute walk away, with a shady, beautiful atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.

I wish our stop here with friends had been longer. It’s a wonderful traditional cottage and a lovely base for seeing the nearby sights, with beautiful views of Mount Fuji. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome 🥰

I really liked my one-night stay in December 2023 and would definitely come back if I get the chance. It’s a Japanese-style house for up to four people, with a bathroom, shower, kitchen, tatami room, and heater. The owner walked us through the appliances, making the beds, operating the heater, and turning on the hot water. We were also given a map of nearby attractions and a little souvenir keychain with Thai writing on it. The entrance can be confusing to find, so with Google Maps, look for the one in the picture the owner sent.
