Blanc Fuji

We had a lovely family stay, with a stunning view and a quiet, peaceful setting. The outdoor onsen and sauna were great to use. The location was convenient, and staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi. Just note that the restaurant requires reservations. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Mount Fuji.

This place really comes alive after dark. They give all guests pyjamas and a free set of firewood, which added a nice outdoorsy feel. We could see Fuji clearly from our window and jumped out of bed the next morning to look. I only wish we'd had more time. It's a little out of the way, but still a great place to stay if you're looking for Fuji views. English is somewhat limited, though check-in and checkout were still easy to manage. If you're driving, watch for the entrance, it's very tight and easy to miss.

The private sauna was my favourite part. I used it both during the day and at night, and left feeling restored after time spent looking at the forest and listening to nature. We only booked one night and wished we'd stayed two. Blanc Fuji is a peaceful retreat about two hours from Shinjuku Bus Terminal, and with a bit of luck with the weather you can see Mt.Fuji. It rained during our visit, so we couldn't. Local products are used for the amenities, which were first-rate. Dinner was cozy, and the authentic but fun Japanese-style breakfast Onigiris was a highlight too. Highly recommend for anyone who values a healing getaway.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere at our family room, right beside a small river. The view of Mount Fuji greeted us each morning, and both breakfast and dinner were great. We'll definitely come back.
