The location is probably the best in town, right by a Daiso and a supermarket, and the town feels quite safe. There’s a big overhang too. As a bicycle tourist, I appreciated that they offered to store my bike inside even though I hadn’t asked. The staff were lovely and wrote a couple of notes for me in English. They also let me check in 30 minutes early. The room was good, the air conditioning was great, and the WiFi worked well. Highly recommend staying here.

The service was very, very good, and my room was comfortable and updated, even though the building itself looks old. Breakfast was satisfactory, but just standard compared with what they advertise.

There’s only one hotel in town, so it was very convenient for me. Fukagawa Station is about a five-minute walk away. They also kept some distance between guests during meals and checked everyone’s temperature before letting them in.

I used the hotel for meetings and a social gathering this time. The food was delicious, the staff were very polite, and I had a great time. I’d like to stay overnight on my next visit. Fukagawa City has fewer banquet halls and places to stay these days, so I hope the hotel stays open for a long time. It’s just outside Fukagawa City and currently the largest hotel there. I believe it used to be called Sun Plaza Hotel. Including its grounds, it’s probably the city’s second-largest accommodation facility after Agri Kobo Maabu, which operates in the mountains in Fukagawa City’s Otoe district. My previous visit was around 2012 for a friend’s wedding, when it was still called Sun Plaza. This time I came on official business.

I stayed without meals and came by rental car. The hotel is conveniently near the station, with a supermarket close by. They gave me a welcome coffee and Fukamuna Line replica goods that were available only in November: a headmark, sign, and commemorative ticket. Seeing the Fukamuna Line again, 30 years after it closed in 1995, thrilled me. The bathroom and sink in my room looked renovated, and I was able to use them comfortably.
