Hotel Green Hill

I booked Room B for a break, but the bath jets didn’t work and the sauna was out of order, so I couldn’t use either. If I’d known, I would’ve picked Room A. Honestly, I wanted my money back. I did like that reception was handled through a panel instead of face-to-face.

It’s an older hotel, but the price seems reasonable. The wall between the bathroom and the next room was thin, though. While I was bathing, the people next door kept banging on it as if I were making too much noise. I thought I was being considerate, but it was stressful and I couldn’t relax. I wonder if they could improve the soundproofing.

The smell of cigarette smoke was so strong I couldn’t sleep. The listing didn’t say “non-smoking room,” but is that how smoking rooms are? It was that bad. The room also never gets bright, and I only used it because it was close by. I won’t go back because of the smell. The system is odd and annoying, something like an auto-lock. It shuts automatically, and you have to call to get permission to leave, though I only had to do that once.

Even on a weekday, they charged the holiday rate, which felt expensive and like a rip-off. The room itself was dim, the bed was hard, and there was no closet. The bathtub was small and had no mirror, and they only provided one welcome drink.
