The staff were friendly and accommodating, and at ¥4,100 a night it was good for the price. Free soba, drinks, and breakfast were included, and parking was free. The AC worked. There’s a long list of amenities: slippers, sanitary pads, microwave, kettle, coffee and tea, creamers and sugar, cups with saucers and spoons, chopsticks, glasses, plastic wrap, fridge, TV, sofa, table, toothbrushes, cotton pads and buds, shower cap, comb, mouthwash, face care products for men and women, hair oil and dryer, bath, shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, big bed, and yukatas. Since it’s a love hotel, they also provide a vibrator and condoms. You can rent some extra items for a fee or borrow them free. The downsides were hair left in a few spots and some areas that hadn’t been cleaned well. Also, although checkout was at 12pm, the electricity went out at 11:22am.

This is a retro Showa-era love hotel with a hearty homemade breakfast included, and it seems like good value. I’d suggest it for couples who already know this kind of hotel and plan to visit more than once. For a couple’s first stay, I wouldn’t recommend it, since it isn’t as clean as other hotels.

I stayed in room 206, the website listed it at ¥4,180, the cheapest option, though prices differ by room. The two-story building is connected, with parking below and rooms upstairs, and it has a pay-per-view machine. The place is old, but my room and bathroom were roomy and had all the amenities. There were some problems, though: only lukewarm water came from the tub tap, so I used the shower to fill the tub, and the jet bath didn’t bubble. The adult channels wouldn’t play even with the instructions by the TV, and BS and other channels didn’t work, so terrestrial TV was all I could watch. The pay-per-view machine wouldn’t take new banknotes. Cards worked, but no contactless. Maybe these issues are specific to 206, so it’s worth preparing ahead (lol). I gave it three stars for the price and spaciousness, and rental items are available too.

The room was dirty, with hair from the previous guest still on the floor and bed, and the bathtub felt rough because it hadn’t been washed properly. Prices have risen, and the place no longer feels worth staying at. Credit card payment is currently unavailable, apparently due to the hotel’s circumstances, perhaps because of high fees. I’m not sure whether management changed, but it seems worse than before. With the free breakfast, I wonder if that might be discontinued soon, lol.

For a Saturday, 5,700 yen is a bargain, and they provided two bottles of water plus a welcome drink. The futon was clean, so it seemed okay if you just need to sleep, but the place has that Showa-era feel and there were plenty of things I didn’t want to touch for hygiene reasons. The entrance was pitch black and scary, and the bath smelled bad 😂. Breakfast was included, but the eggs had no egg flavor. I tried adding soy sauce, thinking it would help, but it tasted awful, sour like ponzu 😂. Early in the morning, I could hear staff talking and phones ringing 😂😂. If you want somewhere cheap, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t bring a girl on a date.
