For one person it might be fine, but with more than one, I’d book a bigger room or choose another hotel. There’s basically just a bed and bathroom, and barely enough room to move. The worst part was the drainage. I took a hot bath at night, and when I let the water out, it came up through the floor drain and flooded the whole toilet area. Awful and disgusting.

The service was lousy, and the staff weren’t very friendly. Amenities were minimal, and the room was so cramped I could barely move around. For the price, there are plenty of other options. I wouldn’t stay again.

The room was clean and nice, with two free bottles of water, and the staff were friendly. I stayed two nights without asking for cleaning, and they left a bag of fresh towels and amenities outside my door, which was a nice touch. The chair had wheels, so it was easy to move around. Hakata Station is close by. Finding the right hotel was a little tricky. I saw an APA at Hakata Station and walked there, but it wasn’t the one I’d booked. Mine was about a five-minute walk away, so make sure you go to the correct APA. The air conditioner was odd: even at the lowest setting, 16 degrees, it felt hot. I had to turn it off and open the window.

They wanted to charge us 1,000 yen to store our luggage, even though check-in was just an hour away. We’ve been in Japan for a month, and this is the first hotel here that has asked us to pay for luggage storage.
