There was hair in the bathtub, false eyelashes on the table, and nail tips on the floor. It was awful. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Please clean it properly.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room was very small, with the sink by the door and a tiny mirror, so you had to do your makeup in the bathroom or at the sink. It’s not suitable for more than two people. Amenities were supplied just once. The TV wouldn’t turn on, and my friend got no reply after contacting the host. There weren’t enough outlets either, and one USB port didn’t work. The soundproofing was poor. From our second-floor room, we could clearly hear people moving luggage upstairs. The walk from Hakata Station was long, and if you’re carrying bags rather than taking a taxi, the sidewalk is very bumpy. There’s no elevator, and on rainy checkout day I nearly slipped while bringing my suitcase down the stairs, which weren’t very slip-resistant.

The place was quiet, clean after its remodel, and had fast free Wi-Fi. But I don’t plan to come back. We stayed in a triple room on the third floor, with lots of stairs and no towel replacement on consecutive nights. Check-in was at 4 PM and checkout at 10 AM, and there was nowhere to store luggage before check-in or after checkout. The bathroom wasn’t soundproof. The first-floor bed was soft and the second-floor bed firm, which will depend on personal preference. Check-in is contactless and has to be done through a Google Form. I had Agoda push notifications turned off, so I only learned about the process through an Agoda message after I arrived. That was inconvenient, although the response was quick.

The room was quiet, clean, and not crowded, about 900 meters from Hakata Station. Getting there means walking down a small alley. It felt a bit scary at night, so you need to walk with friends.
