Right by the river and close to Canal City, the station and other useful places, but the hotel was expensive and dirty, and the service was rude. The room smelled bad and the cushions were dirty. They put a narrow, dirty mattress on the sofa for someone to sleep on. For our three-day stay, we got four towels on the first day, then were asked to pay extra for each additional towel per day. They didn’t change them. When we complained, no one came to handle it; we got sarcastic remarks through the screen instead.

The location was great and the bathroom was good, though the space was tight. Contactless check-in turned out to be stressful and a hassle. At night we couldn’t get in and were locked out for a while, until we finally reached someone who helped us enter.

Visited Dec 7 2024. The room had two double beds, with both air conditioning and heating. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a washing machine with a spin dryer and a drying rack. It was an easy place to reach by taxi or from Hakata and Gion subway stations. Canal City mall is very close, and Hakata station is walkable. A good place to stay.

We never got the information needed to enter the building, and calling the emergency number only reached an answering machine. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working either. Definitely not recommended, especially in winter.
