The location and hot bath are good, and the capsule works well for a one-day trip. It’s really small, though, and you can’t take your luggage into the room. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone traveling for several days.

Avoid this place until it’s renovated. The capsule layout is one of the worst I’ve experienced. To get to the public bus-station bathroom from the capsule beds, you have to pass through two keycard-locked doors, and nobody wants that, especially when waking up for a pee and realizing you forgot your keycard. There’s no privacy and the showers are communal. It was so noisy that sleeping was impossible, even by capsule hotel standards.

I still can’t believe this hostel is in Japan. The bed was wet and moldy, and staff said that was its “normal color.” It felt unsafe and disgusting. The AC kept switching on and off, and the lockers were too tiny for a backpack. There were 30 people in one room all night, with door sounds constantly waking you up. The receptionist was dismissive, with a poker face as if nothing had happened. I still haven’t received a reply about the refund. Please don’t stay here.

The location was good, and I was glad to finally find a mirror in a capsule. I’m surprised more capsule hotels don’t have one. The layout is confusing, especially about when to wear shoes and when to use slippers. You’re in the capsule area, then want to sit in the common space, where everyone seems to wear regular shoes, so I wasn’t sure whether I needed both pairs. The lockers are tiny, barely enough for a couple of things, so you end up carrying two big bags around. As others have said, suitcases have to stay in the lobby, and I even left my straightener downstairs by mistake. There’s no proper private spot to unpack without getting in someone’s way. It feels like a capsule hotel designed by someone who doesn’t stay in capsule hotels, with a few ideas just thrown together.
