Hotel Torifito Kashiwanoha

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the subway, and it's next to a huge mall with groceries, places to eat, and even a movie theater. There's not much breakfast nearby, so having the hotel's breakfast was really convenient. They serve it daily, with a big selection ranging from traditional Japanese food to pancakes and croissants. I never made it back in time for lunch, though. I stayed during cherry blossom season in March. The room was otherwise very clean, though there were a few black marks on the curtain and green tape holding the underside of the sink in place. Those things weren't a major hindrance to my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there were many amenities. I don't have any real complaints.

The room is small, but laid out so well that it's the most comfortable one I've stayed in all year. The bathroom has everything you need, including a proper bath. The front desk staff were really helpful and spoke good English, and the place was very clean. It's close to a mall where you can get pretty much anything, and the subway station is nearby too. There's a big park for picnics and watching local teams play sports, plus lakes with little swan boats. The hotel also has its own entrance to a convenience store, as well as a laundromat and sauna. Honestly, if I had enough money, I'd live here 😁

For a business trip, this is a good option. The bed was good, there was space to work, and the room size was fine, not too small. Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. I'll definitely come back.

The room had enough space and looked well presented, and I appreciated that smoking isn't allowed in the rooms, so they smelled fine. The entrance was a different story. It stank of cigarettes, which seems like a bizarre result of putting the smoking room right by the entrance. I couldn't sleep because wind howled through the window pane. I was exhausted the next day, and it really upset me. There was long black hair all over the room, even though my hair is short and brown, so it wasn't clean.
