My husband and I tried the in-room massage, and it was pretty good. The older woman who worked on me was surprisingly strong, and she took care of parts of my calf that other masseuses often miss. The service was amazing, and I’d come back. The room was spacious, with room under the bed for luggage. The location was handy for the station and some good places to eat. Parking is available in a multi-level garage for ¥1800 per 24 hours. There’s no onsen.

I’m waiting for SQ656 back to Singapore, feeling grateful for how smoothly Chan Brothers Tours arranged everything. Their thoughtful touches made the trip enjoyable and lived up to their reputation. I’ll be home soon, but the charm of Kyushu and the friendships we made will stay with me. After a delicious breakfast at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka, we headed to the airport and wrapped up our 8D7N Picturesque Kyushu journey. These eight days brought beautiful landscapes, cultural treasures, hot springs, and the lively streets of Fukuoka. It’s been an incredible adventure.

We spent two nights here and found it a classy hotel with good amenities. It’s near the city centre, and the train station is an easy walk away. The check-in staff were very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. Our room was clean and had just enough space to open two large suitcases, though we had to maneuver around them a little.

The rooms had problems, but the staff acted quickly whenever something came up. In room 708, the Daikin thermostat was installed, but we couldn’t change the air conditioning temperature. The room was also too hot, so we had to open the window. There was no guard or protection, and we were asked to sign a consent form about this. In room 311, the bathtub drain was clogged.
