HOTEL ORIGO HAKATA - Gion -

It's a bit of a walk to Hakata Station, about ten minutes, while Canal City and the Nakasu riverside are around seven minutes away. The hotel alleys have lots of local restaurants, and exploring them is a nice experience. The room itself is clean and pleasant but rather small; the bathroom is spacious by comparison. They provide plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and a curling iron.

The room was a little dim, but that worked well for sleeping. It did get very dry because the temperature was controlled by a heater, so I hung up a wet towel overnight. I appreciated having a 220V outlet beside each bed for charging my phone while lying down. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the bathroom had a bidet and air freshener spray, useful after a long day. There were two hair dryers, a curling iron, and decent shower facilities. I left my luggage before check-in, and the staff were friendly and helpful when I checked in. I had a comfortable stay.

I was really satisfied with the stay and slept well because the temperature was just right. Check-in was a little tricky, but this was a great place.

The room was small, which I could accept, and at least the bed was big enough. But there was no front desk, and the shower kept switching between hot and cold water, making it really uncomfortable. I wouldn't mind staying here in winter.
