The location is a big advantage: a short walk from Tenjin South Station, with convenience stores, Rakuten, an unspecified donut shop, drugstores, yakitori places, and Yang Guofu nearby. The price is affordable, and the room includes basic kitchenware and a hairdryer. The sound carries a lot. We could hear next door talking and using a hairdryer, footsteps above, and traffic outside. Although the Agora booking said luggage storage was available, an email inquiry showed it wasn't, so we had to find a locker elsewhere. The room and bathroom are small, probably best for 2-3 people. There were obvious tape marks where the bed frame and wall shelves had been secured, and they were dusty. The pillows were so soft they were practically useless. For longer stays there's no cleaning. The towel lockers outside are left open at night, but nobody explained whether we could take fresh towels, and there was no one to ask.

We liked the location and the room size, but the cleaning really needs work. Dust and snack crumbs were all over the blinds and beside the bed. My companions coughed badly throughout our stay because of it. Even at a low price, I wish they'd clean properly.

Check-out was simple, and I'd happily stay here again. We had a comfortable visit, with the expected conveniences like power outlets and hair dryers. Entering everyone's address during check-in was a bit of a hassle.

The kitchen was handy, with pots, pans, and tableware, and the bathroom was spacious with water that heated quickly. The broken check-in tablet was a major inconvenience when we arrived: it could only make calls, which didn't work well for people who only had a data card. Since it was summer, the air conditioning was set to 22 degrees Celsius, but the two beds in the innermost room of the eight-person place barely got any of that air and were unbearably hot. The two beds nearer the living room were very cold. The check-out tablet in the room was broken too, so we had to call again. ☹️

The room was a little dusty in places, so I gave it four stars. Otherwise, I was very satisfied and thought it was good value, so I'd recommend it. I hadn't expected an unmanned hotel, but the tablet check-in and check-out made it feel high-tech. I ended up going to Imaizumi, which was within walking distance. Just be careful, since the chain has hotels in several parts of Fukuoka.
