Nest is clean and comfortable, with daily room cleaning that helps keep things hygienic. They also have laundry, and I was impressed by how quickly they handled a broken washing machine. It was out of order at night and fixed by mid-morning. Hakata station is about a five-minute walk away, crossing just one traffic light. If you’re travelling alone, a twin room might give you a bit more space than a queen. It’s a functional, comfortable option.

The location is right in the centre, and the rooms are large compared with other hotels I’ve stayed in in Japan. Customer service was amazing. I’d highly recommend it!

We spent three nights here, from December 30 to January 2. The location is very good and the breakfast was good too. But at checkout, around 8:15 a.m. on January 2, 2026, the receptionist on duty was quite rude. She had braided hair and hair clips, and didn’t appear to be Japanese. We asked her to call a taxi to the airport. She gave us an unfriendly look and spoke in an unpleasant tone, making us feel like we weren’t hotel guests at all.

For the price and location, it’s a pretty good deal. We booked at the last minute and got just what we needed: a clean, simple room close to Hakata station.

This would be a good hotel if you don’t need to store luggage ahead of time. They couldn’t do that for me, and it threw off a lot of my plans. I ended up stuck at the hotel without other clothes, because I needed to wash what I was wearing and couldn’t forward my bag a day early. I had to leave it at the station instead. My flight was delayed, so I missed the pickup time, and on the way back I couldn’t find the storage area. Only one person at the station knew where it was; everyone else I asked seemed unable to help. Really sad.
