R&B Hotel Hakataekimae Daiichi

There’s plenty of space and stuff in the room for one person. The hotel is a fair price, and breakfast is pretty good. Hakata Station is about a 6-7 minute walk, with loads of restaurants nearby.

This seems like a hotel mainly for business trips, and the rooms are really small. The air con vents in mine were pretty filthy, maybe because I booked a smoking room and it was the only one left. The room was mostly tidy, and shampoo and body wash were provided. Fine if you just need a bed for the night.

It’s a small room, but it has what you need, and the price is acceptable. Hakata station is just a few streets away. I’d recommend it for solo travelers, though I wish there were a better pillow.

Hakata station is only a five-minute walk away, which is really convenient, and the staff are friendly. The young receptionist kept explaining that his English wasn’t good, and neither was my Japanese. The room is small, as usual, and you can’t expect more in Japan. I was confused about the tax: my university booked the hotel, so I thought everything was paid, but they still asked me to pay it.
