The room was clean and unbelievably large, and the AC was very cold, which you need here. The place is great, though it’s unstaffed. If you need to reach someone, you can do it through an Apple tablet. Stay here if you get the chance.
The guest support was the worst I experienced during my time in Japan. I noticed a hole at the base of the ceiling light and contacted them. On a video call, I asked for someone to check it, but the agent dismissed me and kept insisting it wasn’t a camera. I hadn’t even shown him where the hole was, so I doubt he understood what I meant. Camera or not, the hotel should send someone to inspect it instead of brushing off the concern. If it is a camera, it could be a police matter. If it isn’t, they should explain what it is, investigate, or cover it with something like a sticker. None of that happened. The agent just repeated that it wasn’t a camera without identifying the object or looking into it. Since I was still traveling, I used a sticker from something I’d bought to cover the hole myself. From his accent, the agent didn’t sound Japanese and seemed to be from some country in South Asia. The support was bad, as usual. Japan is still a great country to visit, though, without outsourced support.
It’s about a 15-minute walk to the train station. The room is a decent size for one person, but could feel a little small for two. Cleanliness could be a bit better.
The place was clean, stylish, and really well equipped, with clear instructions. It suited my needs perfectly, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Fuk.
It’s a cozy, new apartment, and the owner was helpful. There’s a convenience store on the corner, which is easy to get to. Hakata station is about a kilometer away, a 10-15 minute walk, so it would be even better if the place were closer.
