After a long trip, this felt stressful and unfair. I expected honest information and basic service, not to keep paying extra to fix something that should have been right from the start. The official website said the room would have a green landscape view, but ours looked out onto a dark, enclosed rooftop instead. I called reception to ask about changing rooms. They said every room in our type faced the rooftop, but offered a better room for an extra 3,000 yen, saying it would solve the problem. I trusted that and paid, but the upgraded room still faced the rooftop, with no garden or green view. I went down to reception, frustrated and asking for help, and was told the only option was to pay another 9,000 yen for yet another upgrade. It seemed clear nobody was trying to resolve the issue, only asking us to pay more. I've also attached the email response to the misleading information provided.

For $300 a night, the service felt like what you'd get at a $100-a-night place. Nobody would help with our luggage, the room was tiny, there was no free water, and the minibar was empty. At around $100 a night I wouldn't complain, but at this price it's a piece of shot. Don't come.

The location is good, but the hotel itself was mediocre at best and the amenities didn't justify the price. I wouldn't make it my first choice next time I'm in the area. And be careful with the hair dryer. If your room has model EH-NA23, ask for a replacement right away. It gets dangerously hot and seems poorly designed. The air was so hot I had to stop every 15 seconds to avoid burning my hair and scalp. I kept switching between turbo and cold just to cool it down, which is unacceptable. The airflow was weak too, so drying took longer despite all that heat.

There isn't much of a view, but shops and restaurants are no more than a five-minute walk away, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel sits in an area full of malls and places to eat, handy for tourists like us. Our room was roomy, with plenty of space to walk around and relax, and it had a bathtub. The toilet was clean. Check-in was quick, and the room was cleaned promptly. Breakfast had lots of choices for the morning.
