The price made me happy we started here, and the location was great. The room felt a bit old, and the bed and pillows weren't comfortable. Luckily, futons were available.

The room was clean, and it worked well for a big group.

I never dealt with the staff or services myself since my mentor arranged everything. I just showed up with my suitcase and slept, but I really liked staying here and wish I could have stayed longer. The room had everything: a bathtub, bidet, king-size bed, TV, microwave, small fridge and cabinet, sink, kitchen items, and an electric stove. There’s coin laundry on the second floor, and a 7eleven just 10 meters away, so food was easy to find. Getting to the nearest station takes around 30 minutes on foot, but I didn’t mind because I enjoyed the walk. There was little pollution and the views were great. I’d choose this place again if I return to Japan for a longer stay.

For the price, it was an average stay. Our double room was cramped for five people, especially the living area and the small toilet, and we struggled to spread out our luggage. It was also a little difficult to reach by public transport. Still, it was alright.

The room was basic, though close enough to everything in Fukuoka. It smelled moldy, and there was no washing machine in the room. Nights were noisy, with lots of SE Asian tourists in the building who didn’t respect other people’s quiet time.
