For the price, the stay was okay. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, and the front desk speaks English. Be ready to pay consumption tax when you check in. The room was smaller than I expected, and the bathroom has a large step at the entrance that feels dangerous. I wouldn’t pay the extra $5 for breakfast. It was basically water and bread, and you can get much better options at the Family Mart next door or almost any other convenience store.

Getting to Marine Messe was easy, with a bus stop right by the hotel entrance. Hakata Station is about a six-minute walk away, too. My room felt a little cramped, but for the price, especially over Golden Week, it was fine. The staff were patient and well trained. My Japanese isn’t good enough to follow everything, but they explained things in a way I could understand.

It’s about a five-minute walk from the hotel to Hakata Station and the shopping mall. The room was clean, modern, and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some spoke English, so communicating was no problem. I’d recommend it.

I booked a single room and found it quite satisfactory, with a bathtub and a sleek, modern Japanese toilet. The hotel had a clean, contemporary feel and a lovely breakfast. It’s also just a short walk from the train station.
