With The Style Fukuoka

What I’ll remember most is how the team helped when I realized on the train that I’d left my AirPods in the room. They got them safely to me in Tokyo in time for my last two days before flying home to London. I won’t forget that kindness, thank you 🙏🏻 The hotel itself was spotless, with a really large room and a lovely balcony looking over the pool. It’s also very close to Hakata station, which made it a great base for day trips.

The lunch set, the Prefix Course, was good value, and the cheesecake was incredible, it just melts in your mouth. The food was excellent, and the service was too. Staff could speak English, which made it much easier to ask questions.

The first day got off to a rough start. We arrived tired at 2:30 p.m. after a packed five-day, four-night trip, hoping to check in and rest, but the room wasn’t ready until 4:00 p.m. They said early check-in would cost another $7,000, which felt extremely unreasonable. The hotel also wasn’t convenient at all, and I was disappointed. By our last night, we were exhausted and just wanted to eat at the hotel and stay in. The staff were so kind and attentive. They noticed we weren’t feeling well and brought us tea and maple honey, a small gesture that meant a lot. Their warmth made me want to give the place another chance. That difficult arrival ended up leading to a lovely final night. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance. Next time I’ll remember that check-in is at 4 p.m.! 😄 Thanks to everyone for being so kind.

The staff were fantastic the whole time, and the location is ideal for a stay in this great city. Our room had a distinctive, stylish design, including a projector. I’d highly recommend staying here in Fukuoka.
