The buffet was easily the most limited selection I’ve ever had at a resort hotel. For kids, there was ebi fry, cheap alphabet-shaped fried potatoes, and not much else. Drinks beyond tap water, the awful tea, and coffee weren’t included either. They cost upwards of ¥500, even for children and babies. The room was very small. Futons weren’t laid out at a set time and could arrive as late as 9pm, which is rough at a family resort, especially for families who’ve traveled a long way. When I called the front desk to ask why ours hadn’t been laid out, the woman told me it might be 9pm and asked, “Is that ok?” I said, “Well, no,” and she hung up. We paid ¥240,000 for two nights, which was already incredibly expensive, yet they still seemed to squeeze every penny out of us. If you arrive before check-in, you can use the pool, but you have to pay ¥650 per person to rent a low-quality towel instead of being given one. Without a doubt, this was the worst resort hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan. For context, I’ve stayed at around five or six resorts.
A good place for families, especially if you have kids who haven’t started elementary school yet. The amusement pool, dinners, and hot springs are all good!
Such a fantastic atmosphere and warm hospitality. A great holiday spot, you’ll love it.
Such a lovely room. I felt really relaxed here.
I’d like to visit again someday.
