Hotel Flora Funabashi

The location and price are both amazing, easily worth five stars. The station and mall are only a few minutes away, and FamilyMart is about 30 seconds from the door. Even with heavy bags, getting to transit is easy. After check-in, you can pick up two welcome drink coins on Level 5 and use them in the vending machine. The staff were really kind and helpful. English isn't their first language, but they still did their best to explain what I needed to know. I'd happily choose this place again.

We stayed here with five staff and 35 hockey students from Australia. The rooms were clean, the location was handy, and the price was good. Everyone we met was friendly and professional. I'd recommend it.

The room was the cleanest of the hotels I've stayed in recently, and there weren't any water stains in the bathroom. I did notice a slight body odor smell in there, though. The hotel also has a wide range of items to borrow. I was here on a business trip in March 2026, and being close to the station made getting around very easy. It was a nice change to find staff at reception; the receptionist was friendly and explained things clearly. The amenities weren't extensive, but the selection covered what I needed. Breakfast starts with a choice of Japanese or Western plate, with the rest served buffet style. The selection was fairly basic, around six types of bread, plus rice, soup and salad, and the drinks were average. I got there right at 7:00 AM and was the only guest. My Western plate took a little while, though it wasn't busy, so it was okay. The food was delicious, especially the thick bacon, which I'd like to have again. People who ordered the Japanese meal seemed to be served faster. I also really liked the large, thick wet towels. At certain times, guests can use the breakfast area to meet or get work done, and coffee and tea are free. I received a welcome drink coin for the vending machine on the 5th floor. It was a regular vending machine drink, but a nice gesture. With my stay, posting about the hotel on social media got me free breakfast, and they checked my post at checkout. I'd stay here again.

The bath salts were a nice surprise. I usually just shower when a hotel has a shared bathroom and toilet, but there was a good selection, so I filled the tub and had a soak. The welcome drink was a coin for the vending machine, where I could choose what I wanted, rather than just a paper cup. I was in town for a live show at Lala Arena. The hotel is near the station, and the room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were polite and friendly, and greeted me with a smile. I'd stay here again for another nearby show.
