Villa Klein

I stayed here in late February 2026, the night before an early flight from Narita Airport. The hostel is in a residential area, about an 11 minute walk from Keisei Funabashi Station, and the room cost 3,500 yen. At check-in, the owner showed me around and explained how to use the keys. The first floor has a shared space with a TV and small refrigerator, though meals aren't served there and guests are asked to eat in their rooms. I stayed in a clean twin room on the second floor. That floor also has separate men's and women's restrooms with washlets, one shower room, and one sink. Amenities aren't provided, so bring your own. The price was reasonable, but some guests used the shower and hair dryer around midnight-1am and from 5am onward, which made it hard to sleep.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable and budget-friendly. You'll need to bring your own face wash, toothpaste, and towels, but at such a low price, that's not a big deal. I highly recommend it!

They seem to rent out four rooms, A-D, on the second floor. That floor has two toilets with bidets, one shower room, and a sink. WiFi is available, and the rooms were clean and comfortable (^o^). Bring your own towels and toothbrush set. There is rinse-in shampoo and body soap in the shower, but the quality isn't great, so it's better to bring your own. There's a hairdryer too, but it's too weak to dry your hair properly, so bring your own. I'm not sure whether the person explaining things was the owner or an employee, but they weren't suited to customer service and gave the information in a rather detached way. There's no parking, so you'll have to use a nearby coin-operated lot. There are a few shortcomings, but the price is reasonable, so I think it's worth it.

You get what you pay for, and personally I think it's best not to stay here. The walls are thin, so noise from the next room kept me awake, and I had gnats as well. The shower room was disgusting, with red mold and dirt. The male staff member was condescending and rude, with a bad attitude that left me feeling awful and angry. I don't think I've ever had to deal with customers like that.
