The staff at Fenix West really lifted our stay, especially the women. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but Yuko at the front desk and Niamh, our taxi and shuttle driver, were a joy to deal with and so helpful. We had a great time with the in-room shabu-shabu dinner that Fenix West arranged for our last night. It was fun and relaxing. I’d also recommend getting a room with a kitchen so you can make breakfast. The cafe downstairs is too small, and the lines get long when a hotel full of people are trying to get coffee and out skiing. They make one cup at a time. The location was great. The only catch is that if you want a ski locker directly across from Furano Ski Area, you need one at Furano hotel, a few steps away. The three of us stayed in room 206-207 in February 2026, were very happy, and would stay again.

We had a three-bedroom apartment with plenty of room for my family, and the kitchen and dining area were our favorite parts. It’s not near the train station, but that wasn’t a problem since we drove. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in on all our travels!

I want to thank the staff who helped us in Furano, especially Ms.Yuko, Mr.Kyle, Mr.Jack, Mr.Sam, Ms.Kelsey, and the others on duty. My husband sprained his leg skiing on the 23rd Feb 2026, and the hotel staff promptly arranged transport to the hospital and back. Their kindness made a real difference to our trip. The hotel’s free shuttle can take you anywhere in town, as long as you schedule it, and local restaurants are within walking distance. Try the family-owned ones! The slopes are an easy five-minute walk away, and the ski location is two minutes away. A big thank you to the staff who helped us: Tyler, Mitchell, Jack, Sam, Jemesa, Nicholas, Meredith, Harry, Kyle, and Jonah.

Our family of four had a lovely stay. On our day off from skiing, we spent the day relaxing in the spacious room. The beds were comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the bath was roomy, so it felt a bit like a day spa retreat. Having a kitchenette, laundry, and luxurious bathroom made it easy to settle in, and the ski lifts were only several hundred metres away. We’ll definitely come back. The ground-floor coffee shop was a nice perk before a day in the snow. The rooms were very nicely presented and serviced every other day. Staff were amazing, always polite and smiling, and ready to help with itinerary suggestions or short shuttle rides. Thanks to Tyler, Jack, Mitch, Harry, Bella, Niamh, Jonah, Sara, Kelsey, Jemesa, Marianne, Naoki, and Nakajima!
