Ryokan Sansui

The warmth and personal attention at Ryokan Sansui (Hotel Mountain and Water) made this stay with my mum in Furano especially meaningful. Our room was in an elderly couple’s two-storey house, about a 3-minute walk from the nearest supermarket or the free parking on site. We could see how carefully they handled the details to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their hospitality has a friendliness that no modern hotel can match. The operators seem to have been doing this for a long time, and their commitment to giving short-stay visitors a good experience really shows. They put effort into keeping everything nice and clean. You can see a snowy mountain from the street, but it was the warmth of our stay at Ryokan Sansui that stood out. Thank you for maintaining such high-quality hospitality and customer service. We’d love to come back when we visit Furano again.

A warm, relaxing place with a big room that stayed nice and warm. The host was lovely and very accommodating, even dropping me at K-sports to rent a snowboard and at the bus stop when I was leaving Furano. I’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Really nice people and a very clean place. They let us bring our bicycles inside, and there was free coffee and tea. The shower and bath were amazing, and the location was excellent. Arigato!!!

The hosts were helpful, welcoming, and very hospitable, giving the ryokan a homey feel. It’s centrally located in Furano, close to convenience stores and restaurants, with the nearest bus stop for the ski resort a 5-minute walk away. The onsen was a great help after long days out on the snow.
