We went during a cold snap, but the heating kept the villa nice and warm. It was well cared for and comfortable, and the garage had room for two standard cars. The second floor has a bathroom, toilet, and three bedrooms with around 11 beds. From the balcony up there, we had a great view of Mt. Fuji, which made my father, a big Fuji fan, very happy. We used the place for his 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. Finding the villa may be tricky for some, though it was absolutely amazing once we got there. Dogs aren’t allowed in the villa, so glamping sounds like a better fit if you’re bringing one. We’re very satisfied and would like to try glamping next time.

I went with four friends, and the view was fantastic. The ocean is right in front, and with the lovely weather we got a beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars. The staff were especially kind and wonderful. I’ve posted more details on Jalan, which might help if you’re thinking about staying. ⭐️100!

The woman on staff was kind, and the second-floor view is lovely. There was enough room for the four of us. On the downside, Google Maps makes the place look like a dead end, and the small parking lot was hard to find. There was no rice with the BBQ, and the meat was a bit tough. We had to clean up after ourselves, and toothbrushes and pajamas weren’t provided, so bring your own.

The bathroom is upstairs and looks out over Tokyo Bay. I visited at night, so I can’t say for sure, but I imagine the sunset would be visible around dusk. The villa also overlooks the bay, and you can head down to the coast to fish. Shinmaiko Beach opens during summer holidays, which seems great for families who want to swim. We came in June for a trial stay and spent two nights there with eight people. Despite the size being limited, the room felt very spacious and comfortable. Since it’s a private villa, you cook for yourself, but the dishes and cooking tools were supplied. The fridge is huge, with plenty of room for beer, and the freezer is about twice the size of ours.

The bathroom looks out to sea, which would be spectacular on a clear day. We had record-breaking wind and rain, unfortunately, and didn’t get to enjoy a sunny BBQ, so I’d like to try that next time. Even with the bad weather, everyone agreed we’d use the villa again, and we made good memories on the last day of Golden Week. We stayed one night in 2023 during the Golden Week holidays, six people sharing one car. We skipped the BBQ rental and food kit. The interior was beautiful and almost too spacious for six, with most of the kitchen gear we needed to make breakfast and dinner. The ice maker was broken, but the host thoughtfully filled the freezer with plenty of ice, which we appreciated. There are three bedrooms, so it’d be easy to split people up. Reception was poor with some carriers, but the Wi-Fi worked fine.
