I loved the peaceful atmosphere and secluded feel of the villa, with its own outdoor onsen. It's a bit of a walk from the main entrance at the sister hotel, through tunnels and corridors, but I found the setting serene. Mari (not sure of spelling), my English-speaking housekeeper, was wonderful. She explained everything, arranged my meals, and set out robes and towels for me each day. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and creative. There are lots of decorative details and warm touches throughout the hotel. I'd love to come back.
