Douce

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the house was lovely, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and laundry detergent was provided, which was handy. It’s in a quiet area, but there’s a supermarket and Lawson's within a two-minute walk, and American Village is about a ten-minute drive away. The parking lot is right behind the house. The one thing that could be improved is the sound insulation on the staircase connecting to the parking lot. Overall, fantastic.

The bedroom and living room were both spacious, and I think the place would work well for a longer stay. I was there for a short time while accompanying my daughter to her university entrance exams, since her mother couldn’t get time off work. I checked in late and left early, so I didn’t get to talk much with the owners. They were hesitant about my unexpected request at first, but happily helped me out, and their kind personalities really came through. Once my daughter’s acceptance is confirmed, my husband and I plan to come to Okinawa together. If there’s a vacancy, I’ll consider staying here. See you then.

They provide Blue Seal ice cream and bottled water in the refrigerator, with the amount matching the number of guests. If you’re driving, take care on the steep road up to the parking lot in front of the accommodation.

The owner’s thoughtfulness really stood out, and the kitchen was so well stocked and equipped it made me smile. It’s a lovely house, and of course it was clean. The location is tucked away, so be careful driving into the parking lot, but overall it’s a fantastic apartment.
