The hotel is older, but the rooms have a roomy main table and plenty of power outlets, handy if you’re traveling for business. Each room has a spot with a view of Mt. Fuji, and on a sunny morning I enjoyed the mountain from the large public bath, then had coffee on the observation deck. The hotel’s amenities are good for the price, including trouser presses in every room. You can borrow other items from the front desk, and the information about them is clearly laid out. It’s reasonably priced compared with nearby hotels, with Gotemba Interchange right out front and free parking, a good fit for visitors arriving by car. There isn’t much dining inside, but there are plenty of dinner choices within walking distance, including Meitetsu Saikan, Kitchen Diner, and a seafood izakaya. The convenience store beside the first-floor front desk is handy in bad weather or when you just need something. Location and service are both pretty good, and for the money I’d say it passes.
