There are lots of rental shops around, and the guest house might also offer ski rentals. We stayed during the first week of January winter vacation. The location is really good, close to several ski resorts, and free parking is available.

The room was warm, and both the bed and pillow were comfortable. Everything was kept very clean and tidy. There was hot water, heating, and comic books in the common area, plus a public bath and a space to dry ski equipment. The owner was kind and friendly, and the place felt comfortable. It's about a 10-minute walk from Washigatake ski resort. I had a great stay and would highly recommend it. 👏💯

Staying in the dormitory from Sunday to Tuesday for two nights, three days, without meals cost about 6,000 yen, which was a great deal. Since I often visit Washigatake Ski Resort, I chose this place and had a really relaxing stay. On the first floor there's a spot to dry ski wear and gloves, plus a stand for ironing and maintaining a snowboard. It seems like a handy place to tune up your board after a day skiing. I'd definitely like to come back.

For a night out skiing, this had everything I needed, and the drying room was handy. It was a little far to carry my luggage from the parking lot, but at that price it wasn't an issue. The lights stay on until lights out, so I'd bring an eye mask if you plan to go to bed early.
