Hotel Grande Hagakure

Good.

I came here for a meeting.

The reception meal was beautifully presented and delicious, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. The ceremony and reception spaces were lovely too. I stayed in late November last year for a wedding, and the hotel is about a 7-8 minute walk from Saga Station. The rooms themselves were nice, but the three-piece unit bath setup was awkward with a big group. A shower room without a tub would be fine; separating the toilet from the bathroom and dressing area would work better. The building's heat was on everywhere, so it got too hot indoors and I had to use the air conditioner. Breakfast was a letdown. There wasn't much choice, and it seemed geared more toward adults than kids. The bread was tasty, though some kinds ran out quickly even though we started during cafeteria opening time, and I wish they'd put out more. The rooms and breakfast buffet disappointed me a bit, but the reception food and friendly staff were real bright spots. Thank you.

The breakfast buffet was what made us choose this place, and it was great to have more rice, mackerel, and eggs in a time when prices are so high. The front desk staff, men and women alike, were really helpful. We arrived by car at 6 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026. After looking around, I booked about two weeks ahead. There were four of us, and we could all relax comfortably. We wanted to eat out for dinner, so this worked out perfectly. If I get the chance to visit Saga again, I'll stay here again.
