We arrived around 6pm, and the front desk staff member waited for us to check in before leaving. He personally showed us to the outdoor parking area. He was a friendly, polite Japanese uncle, and made us feel welcome. We were happy to get a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. Hakodate Station is only a two-minute walk away, and free washers and dryers on Level 2 and Level 4 were very convenient for travelers. It was a comfortable stay with thoughtful service. Highly recommended.

Having room to relax and spread out after hotel stays was a real bonus. We had the whole 2F to ourselves, with cooking facilities and a convenience store nearby so we could eat in. The train station is only a few minutes away, and the port, tram, and tourist spots are easy to reach too. There are laundry facilities as well.

We were there for three nights with our two toddlers, and it worked really well for us. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean by Japanese standards, with the shower and toilet separate and a simple but fully usable kitchen. There’s free wash-and-dry laundry, and MaxValu and various pubs and restaurants are within walking distance. It’s close to the bus and train stations. There’s no breakfast or daily cleaning, but we didn’t need either.

The room was roomy and comfortable for the three of us, and everything provided was to a high standard. It’s close to both the station and town. Easily the best place we’ve stayed on our last two trips to Japan. A real hidden gem!

Getting around and finding food was easy, with convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and morning markets all nearby. The tram stop is close too. The room has the necessary utensils and a microwave, which made it a good choice for a family. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hakodate.
