The room was quiet, but came with only one sachet of green tea, so it’s better to get more from a nearby convenience store. Breakfast is a cheap set, though not that great. Tattoos aren’t allowed in the hot tub. It’s easy to find, just straight ahead after arriving at Hakodate station, which is not where the Shinkansen stops. The front desk staff are friendly, but their English isn’t very good.

The rooms are small but clean, and there are non-smoking floors, though the lobby smells smoky. Parking is available. The public bath on the second floor switches between male and female access about every three hours, according to the posted schedule. It’s a budget business hotel. If you’re short on time, you could have dinner in the hotel; otherwise, there are some good izakaya restaurants nearby.

We had a great Japanese-style family room. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hotel is close to downtown and the train station.

The tram stop is close, which helps, but getting around here on snowy days isn’t very convenient. The service was good, though the room felt cramped and a bit small.

We had a spacious, clean, comfortable room, and the reception staff were warm when we arrived. It’s just a short walk from hakodate train station, so it worked really well for our short trip to hakodate.
