The front desk staff were polite, helpful, and really nice. The room and bathroom were spotless, with a comfortable bed and a practical setup. Laundry, a drink vending machine, and a microwave are in the lobby. You need your room access card to reach the floors, and it was peaceful and quiet, which I loved. The location is convenient for food and shopping. 7-11 is just steps away and Lawsons is around the corner, and getting around is easy.

Good value for a decent price. It's close to a busy street and right by bus and tram stops, so getting around Hakodate is easy. The service was very good, the amenities were great, and both the hotel and rooms were clean and nice.

The room was great, clean, and the staff were nice. The location is ideal too, close to the city's iconic landmark.

The rooms are new and nicely furnished, but ventilation is poor. The windows are bolted shut, and there's no AC I could control, perhaps because it's centrally controlled. The bathroom gets very humid and has a mildew smell, which seems connected to the design.

So far, this has been my worst experience in Japan. The room was hot and hard to sleep in: the AC was locked, and a loud fan ran constantly without cooling it down. The window couldn't be opened for security, and I had to ask housekeeping to open it. Like at several other hotels, the pillows were buckwheat husk, which didn't help with the poor room conditions. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, but if there are other people in the room, you can't contact them. The room was clean, and the hotel is very close to the tower with a couple of restaurants around it. Bring your own coffee if you want filtered coffee, since they only provide instant.
