The staff were super friendly and attentive, and although the onsen was small, it was nice. The hotel itself is fairly basic, so it suits people who don't need somewhere fancy. Our room was a little dusty, and we all woke up with dry throats. We hadn't realized the AC/heater was running the whole time. I thought the price was high for the quality, though maybe it's seen as affordable compared with other hotels in this popular onsen area.

The host was a very funny, friendly guy who spoke good English. He picked us up and gave us helpful tips and places to visit. We'd definitely stay again. We visited during typhoon season, when many onsens around the area had been destroyed, but still had a great time. The hotel was superb and looked just like the photos. The yukata was a nice bonus!

The place was fairly clean, and the service was amazing. As an English speaker with very limited Japanese, I was really happy with how kind and accommodating the main receptionist was despite her limited English. There were a few crawly visitors from outside, but that's hard to avoid when you're bathing outdoors too.

We chose this hotel because the price for a room with an Onsen seemed reasonable compared with other places. Our traditional room had a private Onsen that was absolutely amazing, like a bathtub filled with hot spring water that kept flowing. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food. We really enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, nice, and comfortable, and the lobby was very clean. The staff were friendly too. The public baths are small, but comfortable. Breakfast was okay: there weren't many choices, though the food wasn't bad.
