It’s a quiet neighborhood and a handy spot for Hakone and Gotemba. Check-in was handled remotely, and the communication beforehand was detailed without being long-winded. The place itself feels like a small apartment, with a comfortable bed and sofa. The little zen garden is really cute.

A car might be useful, but we managed to get around on nearby buses. They can take you to the rope rail 🚠 near the Lake or the cable line in Gora. We also found a lovely Soba restaurant by the entrance to the parco of the Temple. Seeing Mount Fuji was a dream come true, and together these things made our time in Hakone unforgettable. The house is amazing, and we kept admiring it. The owners had left delicious snacks and welcome drinks, which we really appreciated.

The bus is close by and gets you to the local sights, and there’s a 711 just around the corner. It’s a lovely, quiet town for taking a stroll. Inside, the living room and bedroom are roomy, and so is the bathroom. Everything was very clean. The garden can be admired from the balcony, and the fridge had complimentary cava, beer, and soda. It all felt quite luxurious.

A cozy little house in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from Hakone. Getting checked in was easy. We were on our honeymoon, and the small gifts they left were such a thoughtful touch. ❤️
