We left early and made sure to leave the place spotless. The house itself was fine, but we didn’t feel welcome. Communication felt impersonal and automated, and all the rules made the stay stressful. There were repeated mentions of fines for things like checking out 15 minutes late or having oversized trash.

We were six people and found the in-room supplies well stocked. The host was quick to reply, and the place was spotless when we arrived. It’s an easy walk from Hakone Yumoto, in a quiet neighborhood, and the 7-eleven about two minutes away was handy. We spent two nights here and had a great time.

We had a lovely stay, thank you. The place was clean, roomy, and convenient, and the facilities were great. With a family, having two bathrooms was especially nice, and even the futon beds were comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay and would come back. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with toiletries, towels, and laundry detergent provided. The shower pressure was good and the heater warmed up quickly. The toilet smell could be improved, though. For what we paid, it felt worth it.

We had a great stay and would use this place again, though it was a little expensive. The facilities were modern and clean. The beds were very basic, with thin mattresses from the cupboard laid out on the floor. The photos felt a bit misleading: the room shown with floor seats and a table has to be cleared out for use as a bedroom.
